Join over 50 barbecue pit-masters and amateur grillers aboard The Queen Mary for the 6th Annual West Coast BBQ Classic this Saturday, May 13th for an afternoon of smoky, saucy, finger-lickin’ fun.

The WCBC will offer cook up many different styles of BBQ including Texas slow-cooked hickory barbecue, Southern Memphis-style barbecue, and thick slabs of crisp bacon. This is an official, California-state competition bringing to most acclaimed grillers together be awarded cash prizes valued up to $11,500 and the title of West Coast BBQ Pitmaster Champion.

The event will also debut a new lineup of bacon and desserts. Could there by anything more tempting? Well okay maybe donuts (this counts as breakfast, right?) because VIP tickets get in as early as 10am and you’re going to need a little sugar rush before the ribs and grilled corn on the cob. General public entrance begins at 11am and the fun won’t stop until 6pm.

The 6th Annual West Coast BBQ Classic is Saturday, May 13th 11am-6pm

Foodies and BBQ groupies can enjoy $2 BBQ samples, live music, backyard lawn games, line dancing, bars, contests (as in

watermelon eating contest!), and a merchant market. Live entertainment  will be performing on two separate stages by country sensation Dean Kalogris and DJ Rod Epic. Kids can enjoy a bounce house, face painters, potato sack races, and more.

Event sponsors include Jack Daniels (yay!) and Coca-Cola.

Purchase tickets for just $24 online to include 5 tasting tickets, and same-day access to the Queen Mary ship. VIP Value Pack tickets are $39 and include all regular ticket benefits, plus 1-hour early admission.  Event parking is $20.

See you there!
