Try saying those magic words five times fast or just head on over to Sidedoor, adjacent to Five Crowns in Corona del Mar, to see Chief Bartender in Charge, Michelle Nguyen for a taste of her artisan cocktails. She’s a wizard behind the bar, crafting all sorts of magically delicious drinks. We caught her on a day when she was making a salted caramel old fashioned – a slightly sweet, but smooth drink 35-year old Harry Potter would totally throwback with a Muggle. In between crafting cocktails, she answered all our kooky questions about bartending and her secret love for Pina Coladas.
