You may know them for their Golden Baked Hams, but the Stefano family has taken your traditional Italian-American deli and elevated it Stefano's familywith an innovative take on your favorite Paninis, sandwiches, salads and breakfast items. Stefano’s is a family-owned and operated business that is committed to providing excellent food, great service and reasonable prices. The ambiance in their new Laguna Hills location is hip and inviting, and every time we have been in, we are greeted warmly by staff and Chef Frankie Stefano, the son of the restaurant’s founder Frank Sr. Stefano. Chef Frankie owns and operates this location with his sister Alana.

IMG_3225What’s awesome about Chef Frankie is that he has learned about the importance of quality and has a rich knowledge about Italian cooking and products. With this knowledge, he has cultivate a new American twists on sandwiches and other deli items we know and love.

Stefano'sSome of his newest creations include the Burgini, which is made with ground kobe beef, roasted garlic & jalapeño cream cheese, bacon, avocado, tomatoes, onions and cheddar cheese atop a grilled baguette. It’s awesome if you like a good burger with a kick. The Romeo is a delicious take on a Philly with melt-in-your-mouth roasted all-natural Tri Tip, caramelized onions, provolone cheese and garlic aioli. Frankie has also added a great selection of craft beers to the menu to pair perfectly with his creations and the palates of their patrons.

IMG_3700By now you know we are huge brunchers and take it very seriously, but sometimes we just need a quick breakfast to get our Sunday Funday going. Our go to is a well-balanced breakfast sandwich and Stefano’s new breakfast menu does not disappoint. Our favorite is their ultimate breakfast sandwich made with eggs, smoked Gouda, bacon, and avocado with a spicy garlic aoli on buttery brioche. They also have sweet items like their blueberry ricotta pancakes served with lemon curd and crown maple syrup.

Once you try Stefano’s once you will be hooked!
